- Item is a newsletter published by St. Jerome's University for its graduates, faculty, staff and friends. This issue includes a message from the President (Katherine Bergman), a short article on Investiture 2013, a reflection on his memories at St. Jerome's by graduate David Plouffe, a short article on Patrick J. Flynn who received the 2013 Fr. Norm Choate Distinguished Graduate Award, a call for stories, photographs, and memorabilia to help celebrate St. Jerome's 150th anniversary in 2015, news about Reunion Weekend 2013, articles welcoming new faculty Caitlin Mulcahy and Susan Brophy, and notices of new books by faculty members Scott Kline, Myroslaw Tataryn, Cynthia Crysdale, and Whitney Lackenbauer.

St. Jerome's University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, and is situated in the University of Waterloo. It was founded as St. Jerome's College in 1865 by the Congregation of the Resurrection. In 1959, it was granted university status and changed its name to the University of St. Jerome's College. It has been federated with the University of Waterloo since 1960. In 1998, the name was officially changed to St. Jerome's University.
