R., D. D., with the approbation of Rt. Rev. J. Farrell, Bishop of Hamilton, and is directed by the Fathers of the Congregation of the Resurrection of our Lord. It was incorporated by Act of Parliament, August 15th 1866. • AIM OF THE COLLEGE. The Object of this Institution is to educate young men in the spirit of Christianity ; to prepare them for higher professional studies in Seminaries and Universities, and to qualify them for Commercial life. DESCRIPTION OF THE COLLEGE. This College is situated in Berlin, one of the healthiest, prettiest and most flourishing and progressive Towns of Western Ontario.- Waterloo County (of which Berlin is the Capital) is a beautiful section of the Country, very fertile and in a high state of cultivation. The buildings are magnificent, comfortably furnished, well ventilated, lighted with Gas, heated by Hot-Water and Hot-Air, well provided with fire escapes and protection against fire. A large Recreation Hall, spacious Play Grounds and Gardens, and the Town Park offer ample facilities for healthy exercise, games and amusements. The board is plain, but abundant and substantial, well prepared and wholesome. A limited number of private rooms can be given to students whose conduct is such as to deserve the enjoyment of this privilege. .
