THE SCHOOLMAN. 38 Alumni St. Jerome's is always pleased and happy to receive visits. Since our last issue we have been pleased to welcome many former students. * * * Rev. Victor H. Zarek has been appointed Army Chaplain of the Polish Army Camp, Father Zarek was formerly pastor of one of the largest churches in Pittsfield Mass., While stationed at Niagara on the Lake he visited his Alma Mater for a few days. Father Zarek is now en-route to France with the army. We wish to congratulate him on his noble work. * * * In December last, we were pleased to see Rev. Father Echert, the distinguished Dominican. Father Echert has been busily engaged in conducting missions throughout the United States. He was a class-mate of our Reverend President. * * * Messrs. Joseph Diemert, B. A.; C. R.; Frederick Arnold C. R. and Frank Frieburger C. R. spent their two weeks' vacation in our midst. The boys are looking well and are doing fine work at the Grand Seminary. We were all glad to welcome them. * * * The old familiar stork visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Donohue. The whispering winds have told us a similar visit was paid to the homes of Mr. Herbert Kuntz and Reinhold Lang. Congratulations in your new found joy. * * * Father Dogorski '12 dropped in one evening for a few hours. He is doing excellent work in Brantford. * * * Father Gehl journeyed up from Preston to enjoy a hockey game and paid us a short visit.
