The first 5 minutes of the first period was all Dodgers, as time and time again they pressed, but with tight checking Indian deâ€" fence held. Then as so many times hapâ€" pens, a goal by the Indians openâ€" ed the gates wide open. In the space of 6 minutes, no less than 6 pucks were put behind Brian Cropper in the Dodgers net. Two fast goals by Bob Modray and Bill Lastic at the start of the second period, put the Dodâ€" gers right back in the game. This caught the Indians asleep and the Dodgers completely outâ€" played them for the rest of the period. Bob Young scored with just a minute left to end the period. Indians 7 Weston 3. The third period was fairly even and got a little dull, until after taking five minor penalâ€" ties for various infractions, Bill Lastic livened things up. Young who got away with everything but the kitchen sink, provoked Lastic into a series of penaities with _some real fancy tongue talk.
