(b An exhibition of black and white photographic panels of buildings in Ontario built in brick and tile and selected by the Ontario Mason‘s Relations Council for their First Annual Awards, will be on view to the public at the Eatonville Branch, Etobicoke Township Public Library, 430 Burnhamthorpe Road (one block east of Hwy. 27), until June 18. The buildings portrayed in the exhibit were chosen as outstanding Ontario structures designed by architects in private practice and constructed essentially of clay products manufactured in Canada. Included are libraries, municipal buildings, a church, a laboratory, a nurse‘s residence and a YMCA building, all demonstrating the beauty of masonry construction when .applied with beauty and imagination to our public buildâ€" ings. The exhibit is of particular Sketches & Notes Of Bracebridge At Alderwood Library When third year students from the school of Architecture, Uniâ€" versity of Toronto, armed with sketchbooks and pencils, visited Bracebridge, Ontario, recently, they came away with sketches and notes that graphically revealed the qualiâ€" ties that give interest and inâ€" dividuality to an Ontario town. As well as providing the viewer with an architectural survey of the Main street, shops, homes, businesâ€" ses and back lanes of a town, the exhibit shows a wide range of drawing techniques and styles used in representing buildings and the spaces they define.
