More pedestrians are killed on Metro highways and streets at night time even though there are fewer cars in use after dark. Why? Everyone‘s night time viâ€" sion is bad and the majority of pedestrians do not wear bright colored clothing at night time. Metropolitan Citizens‘ Safety Council appeals to everyone who has to walk on Metro streets and roads after dark to wear bright clothing. The Council also points out why night time vision is bad.
