The semi-formal occasion is looked upon as the social highlight of this year. Over 500 people attended to hear, in addition to the Senior Band itself, selections by the schoo1's Junior and Technical Bands, String Ensemble and the much acclaimed Folk Song Group. The Band will have played about a dozen concerts over this winter break. A week ago today a concert 'was held, here at Westview, to raise money for the band's No'va Scotia Tour Fund. Details regarding this opportunity for both parents and the general public to visit one of the newest secondary schools in North York, will be forthcoming.
