During the afternoon various contests and games will be held. All buses will leave Albion Hills about 4:00 pan. In case of inclement weather the picnic will be held on the following day. The entire week of events, is sponsored by the North York Parks and Recreation Department, and will involve more than 2000 Senior Citizens from across North York. Wednesday June 18 is the date set for the Annual Senior Citizens Arts and Crafts Display. It will be held once again at the Lansing United Church, 49 Bogert Ave., Willowdale. Each club sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department will contribute a number of hand made craft articles for public showing. Approximately 400 articles will be on display. The showing will be from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tea will be served between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. _ The Annual Shuffleboard championships will be held on Thursday June 19, 1969. Each club has submitted the champions for corppetiton. The following competitions will take place at: Downsview Arena - Mixed Doubles; at Memorial Hall - Ladies Doubles; at Lawrence Heights - Mens Doubles. All competitions begin at 1:30 p.m. Trophies will be presented by members of the Parks and Recreation staff.
