The planners want certain standards established to protect existing housing during any period of redevelopment in the block bounded by Weston Rd., Walsh Ave., Wilson Ave., and Blondin Ave. Metro planners have approved of a portion of North York‘s official land use plan that covers the area east of Highway 400, south of Wilson Ave. and Albion Rd. The planners want to defer approval of that part of the official plan of the Borough that covers the area west of Highway 400 north of Wilson Ave., and Albion Rd. The apartment project for the elderly in the Keeleâ€" Sheppard area will also be completed about May 1970 providing 240 apartment suites. This includes 216 bachelor and 24 oneâ€"bedroom housing units. This project is work has been completed and windows installed.
