Past President, Peter Smith, gave a short talk on the true meaning of Christmas. Also on the program was the movie "The Littlest Angel" which is an all time favourite. The only disturbi the meeting was abm parents got up ‘and walked out after the choirs ‘performance. This was not only rude but‘ downright inconsiderate since coffee had been made for them and cups laid out. CHILD HEALTH CONFERENCE Although Downsview _ Arena and Weston Arena have offered skating throughout the winter, the children and parents no lonâ€" ger need to go a distance for skating. Natural ice rinks are now open at Amesbury Park on Lawrence Avenue and also at Maple Leaf Park, just off Culâ€" ford Road,‘ north of Rustic. There is also a large rink on Gracefield, â€" beside â€" Gracefield Public School. You will find you make many new friends and have a variety of opponents. This is strictly, a recreational evening, and no instruction will be given. This special night is open to all ages, and the more the merrier. E. On December 23rd, about 60 children were taken by buses on a tour of the "Fairyland" at Casa Loma during the morning, and in the afternoon, two hours were spent on a tour of the Royâ€" al Ontario Museum. Although Debbie McAfee of 6 Brome Road was rushed to hosâ€" pital on Friday, December 20th, we are very pleased to say that she was well enough to come home for Christmas. It is unforâ€" tunate that she couldn‘t emjoy the turkey and all the trimâ€" mings, but just ‘being home ‘with her parents and friends was good enough for her. Let‘s hope that she will be able to return to school on Monday with her friends.
