The Sunday afternoon before graduation the mothers were guests of their daughters at tea at St. Joseph‘s Nurses‘ Residence. There was a dinner dance for the futhers and daughters at the Constellation Hotel, and on the evening of graduation, a party for the graduates‘ family and friends, at the Orchard Park Hotel, ~ Mr. and Mrs. George Payne, Martin Grove Road, held Open House last Saturday evening to honor their daughter, Beverly, who graduâ€" ated last Thursday in Convocation Hall, from the Women Colleg« Hospital School of Nursing. Card, Holloway Road, with their daughters, Myrna and Sharon, arrived home from Halifax on Monday. The family had gone down to attend Myirna‘s graduation on Thursday, May 14. She graduated with honors from the diploma course in Dental Hygiene at Dalhouise University. . ‘Mr. and Mrs. G. V. Meagher, Edenbridge Drive, arrived home last Thursday from a trip around the world. Their two longest stops were three weeks in India where Mr. Meagher had business, and three weeks in Austria where they visited their aister, who lives in Vienna. Hawaii, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Cairo, Athens, and London were a few of their fascinating stopâ€"overs. The play, which was adapted by Mrs. G. L. Court and under the direction of Mrs. R. W. Garbe, was beautifully presented by the following cast: Mrs. 0. R. Bailey, Mrs. J. H. Ingham, Mrs. J. Capes, Mrs. T. Blackett, Mrs. R. W. Garbe, and Mrs. J. C. Henderson. Mrs. Cecil Hickson and Mos. Harry Morris, both of Hilldowntree Road, left on Sunday to spend a month touring continental Europe. Two more weeks in England will conclude Mrs. Hickson‘s trip, but Mrs. Morris wilt be joined by her hushand, and together they will spend some further time in the British Isles.
