He taught English at Pauline Johnson Collegiate in Brantford, at Central High School of Commerce in Toronto, and at Forest Hill Collegiate. He joined Richview Collegiate in his present position in 1962 the newly formed Information Branch of the Ontario Departâ€" ment of Education. The appointâ€" ment was announced by Educaâ€" tion Minister Williamâ€"G. Davis. In addition to his educational television work, his interest in education has taken him consiâ€" derably beyond the classroom. He was coâ€"ordinator of English schools, and a member of the Professional Education Commitâ€" tee of Forest Hill Schools from 1959 to 1962, serving as chairman of the latter body 1961â€"62. He was also president of the English Section of the Ontario Educational Association from 1963 to 1964, a member of the OEA Board of Governors, and a member of the English Commisâ€" sion of the Ontario Teachers‘ Federation.
