The Church was decorated with art and looked beautiful, as the gifts of God, in flower with all their brilliant colors and the fruits of the earth were tastefully arranged. It is a pretâ€" ty church that does lend itself to artistic hands and nice color arrangements. There were 23 new memberâ€" ships passed out by the membâ€" ership conveners, Barb Norman and Alecia McCartney, which now gives us 140 members. Marty McGinnis, one of the editors of the Club paper, calâ€" led ‘"The Peasant", asked the members to write articles for the paper; a deadline for the articles will be announced next Sunday. Joh; Mason asked members to sign the bowling list, on the side boards; the bowling is held at Jane Park Plaza â€"â€" there will be a banquet and trophies at the end of the year. Some of the men of the chureh under the guidance of Reg Bowâ€" er journeyed to Rice Lake to try their luck at fishing Saturâ€" day. They had a fine day‘s outâ€" ing. Some fish did not escape from the hooks these fishermen cast out and the Rector was one of the lucky ones to be rewarded for their day‘s efforts. This is a group of the church men who have been working on the renâ€" ovations around the church and the grounds and are doing a good job as sidesmen.
