Volunteer On December 18, the Downsâ€" view Secondary School, will be presenting a night of music by the students; and on December 21, Queensborough Junior High are arranging a big night, when all phases of the school life will be on display for the parents. The key phrase for a volunâ€" teer for the Canadian Cancer Society is "to care". Unless one cares, and cares deeply, the work is likely to become boring, irritating, even distasteful, and eventually. impossible. To use the volunteer office simply for one‘s own ends, even emotional ones, does not succeed either. The aims of the Society and the motives behind these Aims are too stark and realistic.
