The Tropical Hut on Weston Road just south of Lawrence will deliver right to your door some of the best Chinese food that you could ask for. It seem that they have discovered a fine eating place at Canadian Bar B Q at 1698 Weston Road. +++ It seems that patrons are agreeing with me on some points anyway. Don Steele and his Silver Banjos are doing a marâ€" vellous job. +++ It‘s sure hard to stay on a diet these days with some of the fine eating spots that are available in the area. Good entertainment, nice decor and fine cocktail waitresses should make the Gypsyâ€"Gypsy Lounge in the new Holiday Inn a popular spot. The Gypsyâ€"Gypsy Lounge has a standâ€"up bar at the back of the room as well as the nicely arranged and decorated main lounge. The opening was a success as far as most who attended were concerned, but the one point that stood out badly, was the lack of press releases, pictures and statistics available to the press to assist them in properly reporting the event. They opened with a big party and presented enâ€" tertainment in their Gypsyâ€" Gypsy Lounge for the first time. Entertainment is featured nightly from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Monday to Saturâ€" day from now on. Gerry Cingolani leads his orchestra in the lounge and backs up the featured vocalist, Betty May. Brighly costumed and fast moving Cossak dancers are also on the same show. Ray is not only a good vocalist and drummer, but is one of the truly great funnyâ€" men entertainers. His routines continue throughout the audience after he has finished his set on the stage. His cordovox playing partner and himself offer their songs, comedy and musi¢ for dancing nightly.
