The boys house league teams have players in the age bracket 7 to 15 and, in the two youngest age groups, Amesbury is using a new system this year where each boy gets a chance to play every game. To the satisfaction of the parents and coaches it is working out well. Spool on a new line before each new fishing seaâ€" son. Inspect it occasionally during the season and remove ail frayed or worn sections. If you notice when damage ocâ€" curs, stop fishing and cut off the affected portion. Although the benefits of monofilament lines are many, the problem of lines breaking unexpectedly has increased with their popularity. Most monofilaments are made of synthetic materials which reâ€" sist decay and rot. This is fine, but their apparent perâ€" manence is misleading, for monofilament is a single strand of line which becomes greatly weakened by abraâ€" sions and minor cuts. It‘s easy to damage a fishâ€" ing line. Catch it on a rivet in the boat, scrape it across the gunwale, or step on it; any one of these is enough to renâ€" der that portion of the line too weak to count upon when it comes to boating a big fish, LAST CHANCE FOR 1970 DEMOS AND 5 YEAR, 50,000 MILE WARRANTY k , Aoooldins to informaâ€" tion from Red Fisher of the fishing department at Merâ€" cury outboards, many anglers make the mistake of starting each fishing season with last year‘s line still on their spinâ€" ning and casting reels.. 7431810 360 Rexdale Blvd. at Hwy. 27 Each year many large fish are lost during battle for want of a new fishing line.
