The Show Toppers are a fantastically versatile group struments they play and in their reportoire. Between them they play piano, sax, clarinet, trombone, drums, Their tunes range from heavy rock to Dixieland and country with some old favourite _ singâ€"aâ€"longs thrown in for good measure. They also use some comedy patter and routines that are most amusing. The Show Toppers are certainly seasoned perâ€" formers, having appeared in numerous night clubs, inâ€" cluding _ a _ 42 _ week engagement in Las Vegas. Attila‘s Cave has a 400 seat seating capacity with three dance floors. These dance floors are busy at all times and even if you are not in the mood for dancing a trip to the ‘Cave‘ just to ‘bird watch‘ is bound to be a memorable event. DINING o THEATRES pavemnc _ EntertainmeNMt mantr ciuss (Punch‘a Pizza???) coming . The Magic Carpet has always been a nice little lounge on the top floor of the hotel, overlooking the airâ€" port, but has had no enâ€" tertainment. Now the lounge has a nice looking young fellow playing the piano from 5:30 to 8 p.m. daily. He is Tom Pomeroy and is an accomplished pianist and vocalist and has kept himself busy lately on the Holiday Inn circuit. The Magic Carpet Lounge is a real posh spot and with entertainment daily, it should be a great meeting place after work. +++ The Ascot Inn is under new management and with the new manager ‘a new enâ€" tertainment policy has seemed to be set. She feels that most girls finish work each day and rush straight home without stopping in to â€" relax anywhere after the days work is done. Anna feels that with what she is doing in the Constellation‘s Magic Carpet Lounge, the girls will be able to change their daily patâ€" terns. Mr. D. R. Schwtz, who has been the assistant at the The Show Toppers will be appearing this week and next and certainly worth seeing and hearing. +++ Anna Spencer, the charâ€" ming and knowledgable public relations gal at the Constellation Hotel is about to change the daily habits of office girls in the area. It is hard to say if it is because of the decor, good management, proper adâ€" vertising and publicity, good music or a combination of all these qualities and more, but whatever it is, there is no doubt that Attila‘s Cave is a success and that the patrons are enjoying themselves. Ascot for some time, took over recently as General Manager and some exciting acts planned for the Little Brown Jug Lounge. Betty is a very pretty young lady with an excellent voice and a wide reportoire and trys very hard to please each and every patron. This week Betty May is appearing with a fine trio, and between them they offer a fine show and dance music. This coming Monday Marie Andre, the vivacious and bouncy French vocalist moves into the Little Brown Jug with the same trio. It is sure nice to see the Ascot offering top enâ€" tertainment again as it used to in the past. ++ + Ina and Al Harris are back into the Valhalla Inn‘s Merry Mermaid Lounge once again. This fine husband and wife team along with their drummer have formed together an excellent trio that has been a hit everywhere that they have appeared. Good music, good food and an evening of dancing are waiting for you at La Terraza. The Ken Stanley Trio perform your favorite songs with flair and finesse. Join them some evening soon From 8 p m 9 p m. Friday and Saturd The Show Toppers will be appearing in Attila‘s Cave at the Downtowner Motor Inn this week and next. They are truly a versatile group.
