During the month of August she attended the "Jeunesses Musicales of Canada‘" (Young _ Musicians _ of Canada) which is located near Mount Orford near Montreal. There were about 125 students who spent their time taking lessons, pracâ€" ticing and going to concerts at night. Bonnie was also in the orchestra at this arts centre. While she was away she continued her lessons on the cello. Having received recommendations from her piano and cello teachers, she received half a scholarship toward her fees at the camp. Bonnie is entering Grade 13 at â€"Nelson A. Boylen Secondary School this fall and plays the violin in the school orchestra. She is a very talented musician and earns money to pay for her cello lessons and her three weeks at Jeunesses Musicales of Canada by giving piano lessons to some neighborhood children. During the summer she practised for about six hours a day on the piano as well as playing her guitar and cello.
