In the days since Mr. Mumford‘s announcement, members of the Hilton Canada organization have been busy arranging for and organizing the initial steps in the hotel‘s conversion. These first stages have included establishment of Hilton Canada management and an intensive program covering all aspects of Hilton Interâ€" national identification. In making the announce ment, Mr. Mumford said it was contemplated that "up to 300 additional rooms may be added to the hotel in the future". The purchase of the existing establishment was valued at more than six million dollars. The young generation today seem to have an enormous buying power.
