Members of the legion are busy rounding up local leaders, sport personalities, bands, color parties, marâ€" ching units, majorettes, floats and clowns involving about 1,500 people. Marching units will be in competition with trophys donated by local merchants and Branch 31 and will be presented at Smythe Park. Participants on parade will be welcomed in the main hall of the Legion from 12 noon until 6:30 p.m., where they will be treated to refreshments and a chance to relax. I received a copy of the D.B. Hood Junior Public School Newsletter in the mail this week and I was so pleased to receive it. This is a service which has been rendered for about forty years through the Departâ€" ment of Health of the borough. He left the keys with the locksmith early in the evening and took off to do some shopping, planning to pick the keys up on the way out.
