Brownies and the Cancer Society â€" I almost forgot one other important appeal. Sounds like I want your blood doesn‘t it! woodsy flavor for vacation or outing. One important thing to remember is â€" do not use too many colors nor too many patterns. If you cannot decide on a color scheme and you have no favorite, perhaps you can decide on a painting that will go in your room â€" or some accessory that will go on your tables that may have a combination of colors that will be atâ€" tractive enough to be your jumping off color. Color, if properly used, can make a room, apartment or house into an exciting, homey place for living. A good rule to follow is warm colors in the rooms that face north. These colors include yellows, oranges, reds, pinks, etc., cool colors (blues, green etc.), for your southern exposures. The sacs are located in the chest and abdominal areas and help maintain high levels of oxygen and just the right amount of carbon dioxide in the bird‘s body. A bird‘s breathing, in fact, is regulated primarily by the concentrations of carbon dioxide in the blood. An increase in carbon dioxide stimulates breathing. A decrease causes breathing to slow down or even stop for a while. In many ways, the respiratory system of birds works just the opposite to that of humans. For example, when birds inhale, their lungs diminish in volume. As they exhale, their lungs expand. The unique breathing system of birds increases their oxygen intake by 10 to 15 times when they fly and allows them expend more energy, weight for weight, than a man does when he runs at top speed.
