l times sports . , Blair brothers hurl upsets In the tyke division of the York Baseball League, the pitching and hitting of Jody Blair powered the previously winless Padres to a 17-9 upset victory over second place Cardinals Tuesday night. Robert McCormack and Robin Williams each drove in five runs to pace the Padres. The first set of the two game total run series was played Tuesday with St. Laurence Anglican squeezing out a 18-17 win over Little Chickadee while Marcia Mae went down 18-15 to Overland Western. The Weston Chess Club has doubled its membership during the 1972-73 season. The club is closed for the summer months but will open in early September. Tournaments ended the season and the following will be presented with trophys during the annual election of officers and general meeting this fall. P. Fugimagara won the Henry Loose Trophy, D. Berlin and B. Hoyland came second and third. M. Rutsatz and R.
