He finds that the store is too small to carry ; all, the present stock and the big fall shipments comâ€" ing in. As building material is so high he decided to sell his present stock at cost price to get the room. Therefore the people of the district has a great opportunity to buy‘ at home. The goods offered on the adâ€" vertisement only represent a small part of the great bargains to be had. It is a splendid chance to get your needs supplied at cost price. Look the add. over and then go to see the good quality and prices given. It gives the necessary show space and lights the whole store. The store is built so as to utilize every space. Upstairs is a large hall, 27‘x70‘, which can be used for dancing or concert purposes. This will be a big improvement on the old hall. The floor is being rapidly put into shape for the first dance on Monday night. A lodge room 18x56 with anteâ€"room occupies the balapc? of the upstani{s. MR eotomne in non dieadian o " It is what is needed at present. The whole building is very attractive and is situated in the centre of Mount Dennis. The granite cement block used and the big window space makes it a very imposing building for Mount Dennis. A few such buildings would soon build up this centre. The Mimico council held their reguâ€" lar meeting on Monday night. The mayor occupied the, chair. Minutes were read and the correspondence was received. se _ It was decided to hold the $500 from R. B. Stewart‘s account until all bills were paid by him. ) ... . )_. . > No Nee . m e en The Hydro sent in a bill for $690.94 interest on the debentures for the highway. This was laid over till the next meeting. 8 mbg s A complaint was read re the boys loitering on the street corners. These rowdies are insulting people as they pass and obstructing the walks. On Sunday night they threw some stones at a young girl. Efforts to stop this had only met with more insults. This raises the question of whether Mimico had a constable or not. It was stated that the county clerk said they had to make their appointment through the county office. The present conâ€" stable had been dismissed by the county.: He will, however, act as the constable as he was appointed in January by the town. § y Rowdyism must be stopped. All citizens must recognize authority. A few arrests and fines will soon stop this work. e f '-!Kpbfi;:;fions were made for sewers and sidewalks. A byâ€"law was passed to carry on this and other works peâ€" Harvest Home Services will be held @ the Woodbridge Anglican Church on Sunday, September 30th. Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 o‘clock a.m. Mr. R. G. Alder will preach at 11 a.m. and 7 p‘m.
