One of Etobicoke's well known pioneers passed away at his home this week, in the person of Thomas Jack- son, father of William G. Jackson, Reeve of Etobicoke. Deceased, who was in his 89th year, was born in Yorkshire, England, coming to Can- ada 1856 and settling on the Lake Shore Road. He was a most success- ful and progressive farmer and took an interest in all matters pertaining to the progreSs ot the community.
