The choir rendered a speâ€" cial choral service under the direction of the choirmasten, Mr. Crokeroft. Two Boys Arrested for Stealing Car On Sunday evening last G. R. Reed and John L. Jarvis were taken for stealing a car by Detective Mcllwraith. The boys had just started the car when Mr. A. S. Muirhead, the owner, stepped out from a friend‘s on Calâ€" lender Street, whom he was visiting. The car moved northward,\when Mr. Muirhead gave chase and the youths drove it up a blind lane, but they believed it to beâ€"a through ~street. At the end of the lane the boys found it impossible to drive the car further, so abandoned it and fled, but were soon overtaken by the detective. The boys are at the present time under treatment in the military hospitals, but the hospital was minus two ocâ€" cupants on Sunday evening as Reed and Jarvis spent the night in No. 6 police station. Sixteen ‘"Waac‘s," members of the Women‘s Army Auxiliary Corps, who saw service in the army, the navy, or the flying corps, have been sent by the Overseas Societies in England to take a year‘s course at the O. Chairman Horner, who was spokesman for Number 12 or the Horner school, said that they . were ready to submit their figures, and asked that the adjustment be made in accordance with the last financial reports of the two schools.
