Mr. Bott took the services in the Weston Methodist church, giving an address a former pastor, occupied the pulpit. Special music by the choir also added to the services. On Tuesday the anâ€" nual concert drew a large crowd. The programme, contributed by Mr. T. Fletcher, musical director of St. Giles‘ church, Toronto, and the address by Rev. E. F. Church, entitled ‘"The Philosophy of a Ford Car and Life Lessons From Lizzie," providing exâ€" cellent entertainment, spiced with huâ€" mour, tragedy, sense and nonsense Harvest Home anniversary services were held in the Methodist church on Sunday last. Harold Toye, of Eglington, A record breaking crowd attended the Field Day last Saturday afternoon, held under the auspices of the local G.W.VA. Among the items of interâ€" est was the splendid display of flowâ€" ers and vegetables. Mrs. A. Croft was awarded honors in the former, and the latter awards went to C. Pero, J. T. Winston, Mrs. A. W. Arnott. The cadet corps, 35 strong, gave a parade with fife and drum music, under the leadership of Principal E. J. Sproule. The Fairbank Brass Band was also in attendance. Proceeds were encouragâ€" ing, raising the Memorial Fund to $600. President Arnott reported reâ€" ceipts of $269 from the tag day. The Cadet Fund is $110.72, which will be used for an autumn trip for the boys. The October meeting of the Lambâ€" ton Mills Women‘s Institute will be held at the home of Mrs. H. Canning on Tuesday, the 12th. Two very interâ€" esting and educational talks are scheduled for this meeting. An adâ€" dress by Rev. C.
