Mr. J. A. Livingston, representing both the W.A.A.A. and the Board of Education, stated it was a pleasure to be of service and aid to the W.A.A.A. in fostering sports amongst the young people. He mentioned, however, that it would be good work if the executive always had a repreâ€" sentative present when games were being played on public grounds, as this engendered a spirit of order and would prevent any possibility â€"of the fans getting out of hand, and injurâ€" ing property, as had been done on one or two occasions this year. Mr. A. L. Coulter vé;pSressed the opinion that a challenge cup and medals were fine things to stir the Mr. Jas. Dennis, chairman of the Board, then presented the medals, and in a very interesting speech quoted "Backward, oh, backward again in your flight, Make me a boy again just for tonight. : Mr. R. J. Flynn then moved a vote of thanks to Miss Conover and her pupils for the splendidly prepared supâ€" per and presented her, on behalf of those present, with a lovely bouquet of flowers. Miss Conover thanked one and all and said her pupils and herself were only too pleased to be able to have the opportunity to place a banquet beâ€" fore them, specially the boys whom they rarely had the pleasure of having amongst them.
