The speaker dealt with the life of David, telling what a wonderful servant of God he was, and that he was a man after God‘s own heart. David, King of Israel worked very hard to build the Temple of God, and one day he gathered the people of Israel together and told them that he was getting old and would soon be going Home and asked if any persons wouldâ€" offer themselves to be builders of God. After his speech one and then another came forward until many came forâ€" ward and offered themselves to take David‘s place and build the temple of God; and David was well pleased and grateful to his people for offering their services. The speaker spoke of the temple as God‘s body and the world and mentioned the missionarâ€" ies in some parts of the world just waiting to hear of Jesus and it is up to us to continue this work and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. But oh, how vociferous it is, and how deadâ€" ly dull, even as one golfer to another!
