G. E. Forbes, Mrs. Hugill, the new Presiâ€" dent, concluded the business, Rev. Duncan MacLeod, D.D., who speaks in Westminster Church next Sunday night, has for m:n! years been a missionary of outstanding sucâ€" cess in the Island of Formosa, where he has been carrying on the work of that giant in missionary effort, the late Dr. George Leslie MacKay, %a'pu- larly known in Formosa as the Black Bearded Barbarian. Dr. MacLeod has much of the spirit and fire and devoâ€" tion of his predecessor, Dr. MacKay.
