Carey Mission Circle The Mission Circle of Central United Church met at the home of Miss Gertrude Allen, Main St. S., on Wednesday evening, March 6, with the president, Miss Helen Rowntree, in the chair. Miss Evelyn McCort, advisory president, took the worship period, followed by some interesting topics given by Miss Evelyn Aekrow, who attended the conference for Mission Circles held in Toronto the previous week. The most important item of busi- ness was the planning of the "Nao. tical Tea" to be held in the Sunday school on April 6. St. Matthias ..-A large congregation had the pleasure of joining in with a very sincere and inspiring service on Sunday evening last, at St. Mat- thias Church Westmount. The ser- vice was conducted by the Rector, the Rev. T. B. Butler, assisted by Mr. L. Phillips, the sermon by Bishop Beverly, which was a most intelleetual and inspiring one in these tragic day.
