A funeral service was held Thursday afternoon from Morley Bedford's Funeral Parlours; Eglin- ton Avenue, for Mrs. Thomas Wel- lington Mulholland, who died at the home pf her daughter, Mrs. Arthur J. Kenyon, Vinemount, Ontario, in her 85th year. The former Ruth Lawson Armstrong, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Armstrong, was born at Vinemont, Ontario, coming to the Asbury district at the time of her marriage. Her grandfather, Samuel Armstrong, settled on lot 9, Bathurst Street, North York township in 1812, coming from county Monaghan, Ireland. Mrs. Mulholland lived on Bathurst Street at Wilson Avenue, until after the death of her husband some six years ago. She and her family were very active workers in Asbury Methodist, now United ‘Church. She is survived b five daughters, Mrs. W. G. hoxley (Annie), Toronto; Mrs. Arthur J. Kenyon (Sarah). Vinomount; Mrs. A. A. Eckland 1Alice), Thornton; Mrs. J. H Stevenson (Ruth), Woodbridge; and Miss Elsie, on the staff of the Weston Collegiate.
