Drama Club A great many have been enquirâ€" ing about a Drama Club for Weston and it is planned to hold a meeting in the early part of February. The Badminton Club is meeting every Monday and Thursday evenâ€" ings at the Humber Heights school. President Paul MacKenzie reports a %ood turnout each evening. The club plays table tennis and bridge as well as badminton. Chess Club The Archery Club is meeting every Wednesday at the upper gym of the collegiate at 7.30 p.m. Anyâ€" one who is interested is asked to contact Gordon Alcott for further information,. Badminton ?:m It is exfected that the girls‘ Glee Club will be meeting the first Thursday of February. It is hoped that some definite program will be outlined for that time for spring presentation. Archery _ s The Camera Club is meeting the first and third Thursdays of each month. Bill Burlison is the acting chairman and the attendance has been very good. The one night still pictures are shown and the second night movies are shown. These nights are proving very interesting and worthwhile. The meetings are held at King St. school at 8.00 p.m. Glee Club The girls of the elementary schools, up to and including grade seven, meet every Thursday after four, for lessons under the direction of June Plant assisted by Polly Duffy. The girls from grades 8â€"13 have their lessons_every Saturday morning and the schedule is as follows: Grades 8 and 9, 9.00 a.m.; grade 10 and 11, 10.00 a.m.; grades 12 and 13, 11.00 a.m. Phyllis Carsâ€" callen of the University of Toronto is the instructor and her lessons are proving very popular with the girls.
