Weston Police have arrested a 28â€"yearâ€"old Toronto man in conâ€" nection with the incident that occurred on October 15 in which two Weston women were threatenâ€" ed with a knifo by a man who had offered them a ride in his car, The women had reported that they had been waiting for the bus on Main St. when the man offered them a ride and they accepted. After driving a short distance, the man turned off the Main St. and drew a knife on the women. The suspect has been remanded till Nov. 15 on a charge of assault. Evans Dies In Winnipeg The death occurred on Wednesâ€" day, November 3, of the Rev. G. Lloyd Evans, at St. Boniface hosâ€" pital, Winnipeg. Mr. Evans, who was in his 85th year, had for the gast year resided in Weston at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. Parish. Born in Barmouth, North Wales, Mr. Evans came to Canada in 1925, and held pastorates in Rodney, Jarvis, Huntsville and Picton.
