The last of eighteen of a family, she has had a wonderful life and is the aunt of Mr. George Stewart, our respected neighbor' for many years. She remembers many of our old timers and plsges of in- terest in those days gone bl. Mrs. Port was the daughter o David Stewart, who operated a shoemaker store in Thistletown, later moving 'to Woodbridge, she was married on September 28, 1886, to William Port of Collingwood, by the Rev. W. F, Wilson. Of her five children, three girls and two boys, one daughter, Mrs. H. E. Johnson, is the sole sur- vivor. Her Ian. Stewart Fred, now deceased, was a former neighbor and onened the Grandson Tea Rooms.
