There was not so much baking this year, but there was quite a lot of lovely needlework, pillow covers, tea towels, aprons, some beautifully dressed dolls, then there was a white elephant stall, with some very useful things that, other people didn‘t want, but other people liked, and bought, that table‘s receipts went to the church (Presbyterian). Mrs. G. Lythe had some lovely plants, then there was a draw for a bouquet of flowers which were won by Mrs. J. Rider. Another draw for a silver bon bon dish was won by Mrs. M.
