He played out- side right position for the old Humbervale Rangers. In 1916 he was playing' for the Thistletown team in the three-team circuit of Thistle- town, Emery and Edgeley and was presented with a silver cup. Ife was the' youngest member of the Thistletown team. Mr. Worgan is a true son of the soil, and referred to his apprenticeship in market gard- ening with T. Delworth and Son, Florists on Richview Side Road, A staunch Anglican all his lite, Mr. Worgan was one of the founders of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Thistletnwn. He was christened and confirm ed into the Anglican faith at the old St. George's on the Hill Church on Dundas St., lsling- ton.
