Stinson, Chairman of The Board of Education for the Township of North York, has announced the appointment of David L. Tough, M.A., as Superâ€" intendent of Secondary Schools. Mr. Tough is an Honours Graduate of McGill University where [he was awarded the Moyse Travelling Scholarship which enabled him to study for a year at the University of Munâ€" ich. He commenced his teaching career at Walkerton High School and then spent some time on the staff of the Owen Sound Collegiate and Vocational School. For the past ten years he has been Principal of the Forest Hill Village Collegiate Institute. For many years Mr. Tough has taken an active interest in many phases of professional work.
