Charch Rectory C. Day presented the report of the public relations commitâ€" tee in the absence of the chairâ€" man, A. Dover. The report said that the committee had arranged the successful industrial camâ€" paign, and had organized the public ceremonies at the openâ€" ing of the new wing, with the assistance of the Women‘s Auxâ€" iYary. Mr. Day, after presenting the report, paid tribute to the work of his chairman. R. B. Ferguson, BA.. D.H.A., Administrator and â€" Secretaryâ€" Treasurer, reported that ‘"intanâ€" gibles" were also important, and that he felt that morale was high throughout the hospital. ‘"‘This community: has given evidence that it is not satisfied with anything but the best hosâ€" pital facilities and this attitude has permeated to all levels of the hospital," declared Mr. Ferâ€" guson. ‘"The hospital feels that it is a part of a progressive comâ€" munity and has a progressive administration," he continued, "but the aspect of prime imporâ€" tance is the service and care of the public." The report of the President of the Medical Staff, Dr. G. B. Nichols, revealed that there were presently 39 physicians admitâ€" ting patients to the Humber Memorial hospital. This is, more than double the original number of 18 doctors admitting patients to the hospital five years ago. House Warming Well Attended On Saturday afternoon and evening there were more than 200 persons who paid their reâ€" spects to the Rev. and Mrs. Keith Kiddell at the newly acâ€" quired rectory of St. John‘s Anglican Church, located on Church St. While this was the first opportunity . of extending a royal welcome to the rector and his wife, it was also the first time that many of the memâ€" bers of the church had seen the In his report of the adminisâ€" tration committee, chairman J. W. Pink revealed that the staff of 100 had been increased to 175 in the past year, including inâ€" creases in the administration staff, medical staff and nursing staff. He added that the hospital had agreed to arrangements with the ‘Toronto General Hospital in which dieteti¢ internes would serve one month each at the Humber Memorial hospital. This meant that Humber Memorial had the assistance of one extra dietician since last September and at very reasonable cost, and the arrangement was proving mutually satisfactory. There are at present two permanent memâ€" bers of the dietetic staff â€" Miss Mary Egnetoff, chief dietician, and one assistant. The President of the Women‘s Auxiliary, Mrs. T. Dougherty, gave the annual report of the group, which report has already appeared in this newspaper. At the conclusion of the meetâ€" ing, refreshments were served in the cafeteria by members of the Women‘s Auxiliary. The invocaiton at the annual meeting was given by Rev. R. E. Spencer of Central United church, followed by a few words of welcome by the President of the Board of Govenors, G. A. English, who explained the funcâ€" tion of the annual meeting.
