Scout Auxiliary Elects Officers On Monday, May 14th, memâ€" bers of the 3rd Downsview Scout and Cub Ladies‘ Auxiliâ€" ary met at Roding school for their regular monthly meeting. Mrs. Iris Walker did such a wonderful job as social conâ€" vener for the two father and son banquets, that the auxiliary showed their appreciation by presenting her with a lovely cup and saucer. HEATHERINGTON _ CH. 1â€"0297 The congregation at Downsâ€" view Baptist church is gradualâ€" ly increasing and on this past Sunday those present were able to enjoy a sermon by the guest speaker, Mr. Ray Nicholson, reâ€" cently returned from Jungle Training school in Southern Mexico. Mr. Nicholson, a close friend of Mr. Redding, the pasâ€" tor, sang two hymns, and later addressed the congregation tell~ ing them of the training he had received which was to prepare him for any emergency.
