After their party in St. Philip‘s Parish Hall, Dixon Rd., at which they were served ice cream, cookies and ginger bread men, the children marched upstairs to the stage where they perâ€" ‘lormed like real troopers. They welcomed their parents, brothers and sisters and friends in a tuneâ€" ful, childish chorus of "How Do You Do!" The Farm Song followed wn.h‘ all the children singing while the "Cows," "Pigs" and "Dogs" strolled about the farmyard. The "Cows" were Michael Phipps, Steven Frank, David Ames, Suâ€" san Ann Marshall; "Pigs" were: Bill McArthur, Danny Eveley, Dianne Loucks, Peter Horning; and the "Dogs" were: Susan Duffy, Robin Wright, Susan Trott and Michael Ottaway. Last Monday night saw the graduation banquet and presenâ€" tation of stage drapes at Fairâ€" haven school. Mrs. Cleeves and her helpers deserved a "big hand" for all the preparations and hard work which went into making such a success of the evening. On Thursday of last week Miss Jean Duries of Kingsview Blvd. héld a baby shower at her home in honour of her neighbour, Mrs. Howell, who received many beautiful gifts from her friends and neighbours. Friday night saw a gathering of 30 friends of the writer‘ at the home of Mrs. J. Beebe when a really surprise "bon voyage" shower was held for Kay Tyrâ€" rell.
