Benny Nugent, Calvington Dr. also returned safely from his trip to England, where he had visited his father who had been ill. We are glad to welcome back Mrs. Audrey Friedberg and her young daughter of Parent Ave., from their three month visit with relatives in England. and sorry to hear there was a bereavement in the family durâ€" ing her visit. I have â€"been speaking to quite a number of English and Scotâ€" tish people who have been back this summer for their first visit since immigrating to Canada, and all their impressions seem to be the same. They were all so glad to get back to Canada, and couldn‘t settle down in England again, although it was O.K. for a visit Prices are high over there, and the weather has been â€" terrible practically _ all summer. They all seem to agree that Canada is the country with a future, and a good place to be. G.N.E. Dwight Brady, 63 Exbury Road, has recently takâ€" en over the duties of secretary at Downsview United church.
