I.0.D.E. Chapter Reviews Progress At Annual Meeting After the-opening ceremonies the reports from the different commit- tee} were reyd and adopted. A, Ten meetings were held ditring the year with an average attend- Ince of 14. The total membership in 18 with two new members. There were two deaths and two removals. Cards were sent to the bereaved and sick members. On Remembrance Day a wreath was placed on the Cenetaph with many members in attendance. A number of different ways of raising funds were utilized. One of the members held a lingerie demon- stration at her home, several others held euchres, another a Rummage and Bake Sale. The newly elected officers are as follows: regent, Mrs. Budding- ton; vice regent, Miss Moore; sec~ retary, Mrs, Milner; treasurer, Miss Leask; standard bearer, Mrs. Thomson; echoes secretary, Mrs. Stephens; reireshnurnt 'o'W"lttr, Mrs. Eagle; floWer cohvoner, Mrs. Finnigan. Weather gave all North York school children an unexpected holi- day last Friday and delayed the report cards for the week-end, much to the delight of some of the pupils. Four of the topics on the agenda were the Metropolitan Toronto Official Plan; The Water Report of Vaughan Township; the Drainage and Sewerage Report of Markham and Vaughan Townships and the General Engineering report of Markham Township.
