It was a panel discussion moderated by Mrs. Ruth Maxwell of Harlow Crescent. Mrs. Dorothy Thate, President of the Women‘s Aid of our Saviour was also on the panel. Women‘s Missionary League ‘The Executive Committee of the Every Member Visit will meet tomorrow to plan the 1962 visitation, which is to be carried out on November 25th. The teams of visitors will call on each member family in order to secure a pledge for the coming year and to enlist people for the various services in the congregaâ€" tion, such as Sunday School teaâ€" chers, organist, piano players, evangelism ‘committee visitors, and the like. Albion Gardens Presbyterian Rummage Sale Sunday October 28th will be the 88th Anniversary of the founding of the Church. The first church in Thistletown was organized around 1859 and was shared by the Congregationists and Methodists until 1874 when the latter decided to build their own church. The one roomed church proved to be inadequate for the growing needs, and a new building was erected using much of the materials from the old church. Compieted in 1939, this is the Thisteltown United Church of today.
