Council O.K.‘s Sign But Says Too Many Now The sign, on poles 28 feet high, and overhanging the street line of Weston Road 15 feet, will adâ€" vertise the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. of Canada Ltd. An application to erect the sign was approved by Council, Monday. Councilior _ Lloyd _ Sainsbury said, "There are too many signs on Weston Road now. It may block off other signs there." Despite the statement "there are too many signs on Weston Road, now," another giantâ€"sized one was approved by Council, Monday. Councillors W. R. Perry and Wesley Boddington agreed and said they approved of facer signs along the front of the buildings instead.
