Bull, donated $1500. (which eventually grew to $15,000) to start the fundâ€"raising campaign that saw over 90% of all Westonians dishing out for the good of their town. Back in 1955, the Recreation Commission passed along an idea to Council, who in turn turned to the Weston Lions Club to spearhead a fundâ€"raising camâ€" paign for a Weston Pool. Exactly four years ago today a great event took place in the town of Weston: the Weston Area Swimâ€" ming Pool became a reality.
