Smoothly so far as Briton and Boet are concerned the surrendering of she command»s goes on. Kind things are said of them and to them, anmd the effort is plainly to conquer the last dregs of opposition and bitterness by kindness and respect. Not so between Boer and Boer. ‘The Boers now capitualating are treating with scorn and contempt those who surrendered earlier in the game.
