The fields and woods around here all have a beautituil green shade over them now. Mr. Herman Haw was in Durbam Saturday on business. Mr. Joo McQueen, Massey Harms agent. was in our burg last week on business, and sold a binder and mower on his trip. Mr. and Mrs Jas Gardiner were in town on Saturday, Mrs. Gardiner being quite unwell. We wish her prompt recovery. We hear the McCormick, Bell and Shell & Co have organized a base ball team at Swinton Park. A couple of young ladies of this viâ€" cinity, upon emerging from their room une morning, were horrified to find at their door what they chought to be a tramp, but after they recovâ€" ered from their fright, they recogâ€" nized him as some of their own handy work. We notice some of the young peoâ€" ple of the park are somewhat stuck up since the taffy party. Our teacher and scholars held last Friday as arbor day. A tidy yard and tancy flower beds testify their industry. Mrs McQueen has purchased a new Cream Separator from McQueepn and Morice. Massey Harris Agents. Mr Wm. Kinsman has rented his farm to Mr Noble Wilson and inâ€" tends going west soon. Mr Alex Fergusoun has returned bhome from London, where he has been on the police force for some time.
