NOVEMBER M, 1914 Miss Bessie Saunders and Miss Annie McDonald, two Durham young ladies who are only separated by seven thousand votes, have done fairly good work, and as they are undoubtedly as capable as any of the others, they should and doubtless will make much better showings than they have l so far. Big results are more than likely to be shown by Mrs E. Itoseborough of Vickers before the contest progresses much further, while she has but bar, ely started work. Mrs Roseborongh has done splendidly in the very short time she has devoted to the contest and if her future efforts bear proportion- ate results, she will be well up in the standing in very short order. Mrs. Rosebcrough knows the importance of working instead of simply wishing, and is not misled by the hope ot'getting a prize through luck. Considering the fact that she has been unable to and much time for con- test work, Miss Edna Sackett has done very Welland when she becomes able to devote a little more time to securing votes her friends expect her name to go higher in the list than it is this week.
