WHEREAS the Public 8School Board of Section No. 3 of the Townahi%of Bentinck in the County of Grey has .Ep!led to the Municipal Council of the said Township for the issue of deâ€" bentures to the amount of $4100 to provide for the erection of a schoo!â€" house in the said section. AND WHEREAS the application for the loan for the purpose aforesaid has been submitted to and sanciuioned at a special meeting of the ratepayers of the said section "called for the purâ€" pose and held on the fourteenth day of November, 1914. AND WHEREAS the said Council bas.determined to comply ‘with the said application . 7 AND WHEREAS ia order thereto it will be necessary to issue debentures of the Corporation of the Township of Bentinck for and in create a debt to the amount of $4100 as bereinafter provided, the aame to hear in{erest at the rate of six per centuim per annum and the proceeds of said debentures to be applied to the said purpose and to no other. D., AND WHEREAS it is desirable to issue the said debentures at one time and within two years after the paseing of this byâ€"law ; that the said indebtedâ€" ness shall bear interest at the rate aforesaid payable yearly and shall be payable within a period of twenty years from the issue of the said deâ€" bentures aud that the principal and interest shall be combina(ra.nd be made payable in, as nearly as possible, equal annual instalments duriog the period for which the said debentures are to run. For the purpose of raising the said sum of Four thousand one bundâ€" red aollars, twenty debentures of the said The Corporation of the Township of Bentinck shail be made for three bundred and fifty seven dollars and forty six cents each, being the total sum of combined principal and interest payable annually as aforesaid. 2 The saiq debentures shall be isâ€" sued within two years after the pasâ€" sing of this byâ€"law and shall be isgued at one lime and bear the same date and one of such debentures shall be paid at the end of each successive year af er the issue thereof and the same sball be made payable at the office of the Merchants Bank of Cana da in the Townu of Hanover in the County of Grey. 3. It shall be lawful for the Reeye of the said Municipahty to raise, by the sale of the said debentures to any person or persons, body or bodies corâ€" porate or politic willing to advance the same upon ‘be credit of the said debentures, a sum of money for the purpose afcresaid, not exceeding the said sum of Four thousand one bunâ€" dried dollars and to cause the same to be paid to the Treasurer of the said School Board from time to time as may be required by the Buard, 4, The said debentures shall be sealâ€" ed with the aeal of the Corporation and signed by the head of the Council or by some other person authorized by byâ€"law to sign the same, and by the Treasurer. 5.
