On returning to Owen Sound, Miss Gladys McDonald ud innthcondratented Brairisicteditedabaizt® Autihâ€"irduthdertiicked accompanied him where she will reâ€" main for a short time. Quite a number from our burg took in the Williamsford Garden Party and think it one of the best held there in years. To everyone she always extended a cordial greeting that lent a ray of sunâ€" shine to brighten their pathway through life. We did not fully appreâ€" ciate her true woerth until after the thread of life was severed. . But as we caught a glimpse of the white sail that bore her away to the distant shore, we awakened to the realization that a good and righteons woman had been taken from our midst. With ker husband and family sho moved to Rottineau county, Nortl’; Daâ€" kota, and has made her home here up to the time of her death. She was a prominent member of the Presbyterâ€" ian church for 40 years. Com. We can only remind these mournâ€" ers that she is not dead, she is only asleepâ€"resting after a well spent life here. A. and Willism of Westhope ; Mrs W, P. Campbell, Cloquet, Minn. ; Mrs R, J. Corlett, Dornoch, Ont. ; Mrs J. C, Hay, Rosetown, Sask., and Mrs Andrew May, Grosby, N. Dak. All were preseut at the time of death exâ€" cept Mrs Corlett, who was unable to get there. Besides these she leaves to mourn three brothers, John, William and Thomas, near Durham, Ontario, and three sisters, Mrs D. J. Davis, of Lethbridge, Alta., Mrs J. N. Dunsâ€" more, of Hamilton, Ontarie, and Mrs A. Hooper, of Priceville, Ontario. The children are Archibald, May and Mrs J, W, Hunt, of Antier ; John Mary Ann Greemnwood was born in Cornwall, Eogland, March 8. 1845, At the age of two years she emigrated with her parents to Ontario, where she liyed for fiftyâ€"three years,. She was married to Malcolm Cameron in 1869 and this union was blessed with a family of nine children : three sons and six daughters, all of whom with the husband surviye her. On Menday, June 7, I915, occurred the death of Mrs Malcolm Cameron, at her home south of Antler, after a short illness, Although she had been quite ill, it was not thought that the eud was so uear, Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon fro: the Presbyterian church at Westhope, Rev. Johnston of Antler, preaching a sermon full of hope and cheer to the bereaved ones. Interment took place in the cemetery east of town. Ontario we are sure will yet be proud of Mr Rowell than whem no cleaner, saner statesmen is found within her border. Inspiringâ€"thrilling and feryidâ€"eloâ€" quent, patriotic and educativeâ€"are terms used by other Western papers. At one place in a wonderful climax, he brought his audisnce to their feet with loud and prolonged cheers, Saskatoon Phoenixâ€"The magnitude of interests at stake in this war and the boundlessly farâ€"reaching effects of its outcome were outlined in a manner unforgettably graphic and distinct. Edmonton Journal, Gon.â€"The fire of patriotism imbued & clear and ferâ€" vid address,. Weldom a speaker so enthusiastically applauded, says the Regina Standâ€" ard, (Con.) " As a representatiye leader of pubâ€" lic opinion " s ays the Port Arthur Chroniele, " Mr Rowell oceupies a highly responsible position, and at a time of great stress like the present it is the duty of men in such positions to Inspire and encourage and enlighten the nation. It is by this conception of his duty Mr Rowell is now guided. If there is one thing which will stir the pulse of the Canadian people and lead to actien it is such addresses as that of N, W. Rowellâ€"Regina Leader. Mr N. W. Rewell‘s trip through the west hts been somethiong like a triâ€" amphal tour, he being acclaimed everywhere by Conservetive as well as Laberal journals as a speaker and publiciet of firstâ€"class rank.
